Roland is Marion Socia and Jenna Angeline's son. He is leader of the Savage Saints, a gang that rivals Marion's gang, the Raven Saints. Roland was brutally raped as a child and harbors a great deal of rage. Shockingly, the rape was arranged by his own father...... Senator Paulson was the rapist.

When photos of the rape surface, Roland is willing to do anything in order to keep them a secret. Patrick and Angie become Roland's targets because they are in possession of Patrick and Angie. When the pair releases a photo that doesn't include Roland's face, he decides he really doesn't have any desire to kill them anymore, as his identity has been protected.
