Augie Fluke from A Year Down Yonder is the son of the local principal at the high school. For reasons that make perfect sense to him, he leads a small gang of kids who like to pull pranks on people around town. On Halloween he decides to try and pull something over on Grandma Dowdel and she fixes his wagon by tripping him up with a piece of wire, then dumping glue all over his head.
