Tywin Lannister from A Storm of Swords is the father of Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion. When Tyrion was born, his mother died giving birth to him, making Tywin hate him all the more. Tywin is cold, calculating, and prideful. He convinces Walder Frey to break with tradition and kill those whom he's offered hospitality to (Starks at Edmure's wedding).
