What evidence is there of Oberon being benevolent in A Midsummer Night's Dream?

Oberon, in A Midsummer Night's Dream, is benevolent in that he is sorry for Helena and he uses magic to help her win Demetrius. In fact he goes out of his way to make sure that all of the Athenians end up with someone.
