Ruby Brown is the beautiful, intelligent, deputy mayor to city planning. She was the first black child on Dropsie Avenue, and like Abie Gold and Rowena, wants the neighborhood to be restored. She helps and guides Abie and Rowena through the process of buying the neighborhood.
