Miss Bowman is described as a small, gray-haired woman. Her primary source of income came from raising chickens and terriers, and she regularly supplied the Goodwins with eggs. Bowman was a Jehovah's Witnesses tracts. She assisted Howard during Alice's incarceration and trial by watching the girls for him.
