Mechanism of natural resistance means the way the body defends itself against harmful invading pathogens without the use of drugs. They are:

1.Opsonins.exist in mucous body secretions on surfaces of all openings of the body. Also tears, sweat, also contain opsonins or lysosymes which are IgA class of immunoglobulins with cell lytic ability killing bacteria directly.

2.Killer t-cell activation.Cellular body immunity involves processing and activation of T killer cells by memeory lymphocytes from previous attacks. These cells engulf and kill the invader.Immunizations with booster doses work to protect all of us by this mechanism.

3.Macrophage.These are tissue killer cells capable of handling bigger and more chronic invaders including some neoplastic and protozoal organisms.
