ulrich and Znayem were enemies at the begining of the story. They used to hate each other very much. But with time and when ulrich decides to kill Goerge they get trapped under a huge tree. Under these surcumstances Ulrich decides to offer George his friendship. So George accepts that and they become friends at the end of the story.
