Children are very adaptive. Exposing them to new and interesting learning environments is extremely helpful. Taking them to the local park, observing flowers or leaves, or visiting a museum allows children to see their world differently.
Reading is essential to the creative process. Reading fosters imagination and thought. It exposes children to new worlds and adventures and allows them to dream.
Arts and crafts give children the chance to create and invent. Draw with shaving cream, color noodles, model clay, bake or decorate a cake, etc.
Talk to children. A general conversation will help children to feel safe in their environment. When children feel safe, they begin to express themselves. Listen to what they have to say.
