Why do you think the chapter is name the sound of the shell?

The chapter's name originates with Ralph's discovery of a conch shell on the beach. Piggy knows what it can be used for, and he informs Ralph that he can call the boys with the sound it makes. Hence the chapter title... "The Sound of the Shell".
