Students read short, interesting descriptions of various objects, such as a camera or a flower, then demonstrate their understanding by labeling the accompanying diagram according to the description. An excellent way to build general knowledge, test comprehension, and teach an aspect of analysis - the relationship of parts to the whole, and of the whole to its parts.
