In Research & Writing Activities That Explore Family History students will learn to use resources such as family records, the internet, religious records, diaries and journals, cemeteries, census records, wills, photographs, newspapers, etc., to discover interesting family facts and events. They are given questions to answer and related activities to complete based on their findings. As students get a sense of their family history, they will be anxious to use their creative writing skills to tell the sometimes dramatic, but always unique, stories they have uncovered about their interesting families.
