Lammeter and general conversation of the Lammeter family and their origin in Raveloe. Mr. Macey, the town fiddler, recalls that Mr. Lammeter's father had settled in the Warrens part of Raveloe, bringing with him his sheep, and had married the sister of Mr. Osgood.
