A sentry and a first watchman say that this has been an awful day for them, and that the battle is set to begin early tomorrow morning. Enobarbus enters and they listen to him; he talks to himself without knowing of their presence.
He calls to the moon to poison him and let him die, and asks for Antony to forgive him just as the whole world remembers him as a fugitive. Calling to Antony, he dies.
