The biker comedy "Wild Hogs" debuted at No. 1 at the weekend box office, cruising into first place with a total take of $39.7 million.

The film stars John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, William H. Macy and Tim Allen as biker buddies who run into trouble while looking for adventure on the open road.

The top 20 movies at U.S. and Canadian theaters Friday through Sunday, followed by distribution studio, gross, number of theater locations, average receipts per location, total gross and number of weeks in release, as compiled Monday by Media By Numbers LLC are:
