Passengers using a new Strip transportation system will be able to purchase tickets for local attractions as they roll.

VEGAS.com unveiled its new fleet of buses and trolleys, the VEGAS.com Arrow, that will make stops at 36 locations along the Strip and in downtown Las Vegas .

Single ride tickets are $2.50, with all-day tickets available for $10. The all-day tickets also are transferable to the Las Vegas Monorail system. Riders are required to have exact change when they board, but tickets also are available at several hotel concierge tour desks.

The system operates daily from 8:30 a.m. to midnight with three loop routes that have transfer points at Treasure Island and at Mandalay Bay. The south and mid-Strip loops have vehicles that complete the route every 20 minutes, while the north Strip and downtown route has vehicles available every 30 minutes.

Las Vegas attractions, is a sister company of In Business Las Vegas and is owned by the Greenspun family.VEGAS.com, a Web site that books reservations and sells tickets to

The company's emphasis on tickets is accentuated with onboard touch screens at which passengers can purchase tickets to local attractions.

The screens and wraps on the vehicles also make the VEGAS.com buses and trolleys advertising vehicles.

The VEGAS.com Arrow fleet is operated by Whittlesea Bell Transportation, which also has taxi and limousine companies in Southern Nevada .

Proponents of the new system say the VEGAS.com Arrow buses and trolleys pick up and drop off passengers near the front entrances of most of the properties on the route map giving the system a competitive edge against the publicly operated Deuce bus system.

The southern loop of the system has stops at the Las Vegas Outlet mall, Steiner 's, Grand View, South Point, Worldmark by Trendwest, Cancun, Oasis Las Vegas RV resort and Mandalay Bay.

The mid-Strip loop has stops at Harrah's, the Flamingo, Bally's, Planet Hollywood, Marriott's Grand Chateau, Polo Towers, MGM Grand, Tropicana-Hooters, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, New York-New York, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island and the Fashion Show mall.

The north Strip and down loop has stops at the Plaza, the California, the Fremont, the Golden Nugget, the World Market Center (by request), the Sahara, the Riviera, the Las Vegas Hilton, the Las Vegas Convention Center, Treasure Island, Circus Circus, Slots-a-Fun, Hilton Grand Vacation and the Stratosphere.

Vehicles are easily identifiable with a flashing red arrow – the Vegas.com logo — on the sides of buses and trolleys.
