B: What's the name of your show?

C: I'm gonna smack you!

B: I think you like it.

C: I do, you Puerto Rican papi! It's such a turn-on that you don't know who I am. I'm your biggest fan, which should make you feel honored because everybody sweats me.

Mary J. Blige-"Time" (1999)

C: Mary's the bomb! I was going through a really bad breakup with a guy, and I shared it with Mary because she knew him. She made me feel really good about myself and recommended I read Iyanla Vanzant's works and this other book, Sisters in Bondage, or something like that. Some rise-above type shit.

B: I doubt the book is called Bondage. That doesn't sound right.

C: Oh, shut up, crazy! She was recording No More Drama and was feeling empowered, so it was a good time to be around her.

The Roots-"Thought At Work" (2002)

C: That needs to be my new theme music. I'll come out to this doing spins on my head and some breaking moves. It sounds like "Snake Eyes," by Main Source.

B: You know about "Snake Eyes"?

C: I told you I love music. They need to stick my name up in that song a couple of times and big me up. If I saw Black Thought on the street, I'd jump on him.

Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.-"I Have a Dream" (1963)

C: His voice is so incredible. When you hear it, you know you're in church. You just want to throw your fist in the air and make it happen in Third World countries and fight for justice. Like going over to Africa to kick people's ass for mutilating female genitalia, or tearing down anyone who tries to put a veil over a woman. You just have to say, Hallelujah!

B: So you used to go to church?

C: I still go to church. I even make Wednesday Bible study sometimes!
