Traditional aesthetic restorative composites have to be applied in different colour shades (e.g. dentin and enamel colour) to obtain a natural looking result. With Clearfil Majesty Esthetic this is different. The material has a special light diffusion property that is similar to natural tooth substance. The composite adapts to the surrounding tooth colours so that in most cases only one colour per restoration is needed.
1. Before treatment, select one suitable shade using the shade guide from the standard shades.
2. Basically, all increments of the cavity are able to be restored by the same shade '1-shade restoration' because of the superior characteristics of Clearfil Majesty Esthetic: light diffusion property similar to dentin and the high transparency which is suitable marginal adaptation for enamel.
3. Each layer is cured with a dental curing unit according to the recommended time.
4. The application of the final layer provides natural colour adaptation and the final shape.
5. Thanks to excellent handling properties of the paste, forming and edge-shaping are simplified. After adjusting the occlusion using a fine diamond point, polishing is quickly completed.
