The 22-track collection, set for a December 20 release, also features Obie Trice, Twista, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Nate Dogg, Redman, Fat Joe, Ludacris, Faith Evans, Bobby Valentino, The Game, Nelly, Mary J. Blige, Nas, Mobb Deep, Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Scarface, Akon, T.I., Slim Thug, Missy Elliott, R. Kelly, Charlie Wilson and more.
Producers including Eminem, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, Jazze Pha, Scott Storch and others fused B.I.G.'s rhymes with newly-recorded performances from contemporary vocalists and MCs, as well as posthumous appearances by 2Pac, Bob Marley and Big Pun.
"This composition of sound and different energies has surpassed my wildest imagination," Diddy said in a statement. "The love for BIG was and is real. This movement has been both an emotional and therapeutic experience, one that finds us at the end of the road in terms of original releases for a great man and at the threshold of a sound and a quality which may have fallen by the wayside after losing him."
Diddy, Nelly, Jagged Edge and Avery Storm appear on the Jazze Pha-produced lead single, "Nasty Girl," which will hit radio airwaves on November 14. A Chris Robinson-directed video will follow.
Among the featured collaborations on the album are Fat Joe and Big Pun on "Get Your Grind On," Twista and Bone Thugs N Harmony's Krazie Bone on "Spit Your Game," and R. Kelly and Charlie Wilson on "Mi Casa."
