Some gifts given to Bush administration officials and other federal employees from foreign leaders and friends in 2006, as released by the State Department. Recipients usually have to turn over pricier gifts to the U.S. government.
President Bush:
_ A CD titled "Junichiro Koizumi Presents: My Favorite Elvis Songs," from Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. Valued at $50.
_ A "lapis lazuli mosaic urn with fluted top and circular base, accented with sterling silver detail at neck and base," from Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Valued at $7,500.
_ A "white porcelain round cake plate" with "molded gold handles," from Salvadoran President Tony Saca. Valued at $350.
_ "Gray and navy blue short-sleeved cycling jerseys with a patriotic stripe and 'George W. Bush' on the front and reverse" with the "Vermarc logo, images of the Belgium flag and the American flag on the front," from Belgium Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt. Valued at $228.
First lady Laura Bush:
_ A "three-piece set including: pierced earrings with oval cut sapphire encircled by round cubic zirconium and set in gold" with a matching ring and pendant necklace, from Sehba Musharraf, first lady of Pakistan.
_ Books including "Moroccan Textile Embroidery" and "Made in Morocco: A Journey of Exotic Tastes and Places," from King Mohamed VI of Morocco.
First family:
_ A painting by Frank Muller titled "View of the Hanseatic City Stralsund," featuring a "landscape view of Stralsund, Germany, as seen from the water," from Stralsund Mayor Harald Lastovka.
Vice President Dick Cheney:
_ A "fur-lined cashmere Arabic coat," from Saudi King Abdullah. Valued at $400.
_ A "gold vermeil sword with diamond-studded hilt," from Abdullah. Valued at $5,000.
_ A "Breguet men's watch," from Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Valued at $25,300.
Stephen Hadley, White House national security adviser:
_ Artwork of a "replica of traditional Phinisi ship delicately constructed with silver wire twisted in intricate patterns on the sails and body of boat," from Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla. Valued at $500.
White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan, Chief of Staff Andy Card, First Lady Chief of Staff Anita McBride and Counselor Dan Bartlett:
_ Persian rugs from Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. Valued between $600 and $1,000.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice:
_ A "large red leather jewelry type box full of dates, 8 bottles of olive oil and six bottles of wine," from Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. Valued at $381.
_ A "multicolored orange and green print chiffon silk scarf with turquoise embroidery" and a "black pebble leather draw string tote with white stitching and handles," from Italian Justice Minister Clemente Mastella. Valued at $625.
Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson:
