Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Hall, Indiana - This is the city where John Wooden was born.
Pauley Pavilion - This is a college's landmark that was built to incentivize Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to play ball at the college.
Men's Gymnasium Building - This is the location where the men's basketball team practiced. It was sometimes called the "B.O. Barn."
Purdue University - This is the school of higher education where John Wooden got his undergraduate degree.
University of Minnesota - This is the school where John Wooden originally wanted to teach after graduating from college.
