Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.

Objects

High Point Farm - This is the location of the main character's home.

Ransomville - This is the small town where the mother in the story was raised.

Marsena - This is the town where the remaining main characters move after their beloved home is sold.

Ithaca - This is the location where the middle son in the story attends college.

Kilburn - This college town is the second stop in the daughter's travels after leaving home.
