Childhood Memory

There are points in the novel where the Oh children think back to their childhood in good and bad ways. Create a new memory for one of the Oh children and write it as a scene in the novel. It can be a good or bad memory and it can be from any of their perspectives.

Poem or Short Story

Imagine that you were one of the characters in the novel. Write a poem or short story about an incident that you witness in the novel.

Magazine Interview

In the novel, Annie is interviewed for a magazine article in Connecticut Magazine. Imagine that you are a journalist. Pick one of the Oh children to interview. Write the interview and be sure to include which magazine you write for and why you interviewed the child you did.
