Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Clothing - This is as an expensive item that the main character is accustomed to purchasing.
Letters - This is a method of correspondence used during the courtship of two characters.
Sweetcakes - This is what one character often consumed before courting.
Wine - This is collected in a cellar.
Oyster House - This is where two characters secretly meet to discuss the possibility of eloping.
Dr. Sloper's Study - This is where someone makes himself at home and looks at expensive collections.
