Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Orangetown, Ontario - The Winters family live in a century old farmhouse outside of this town.
GOODNESS - This is the word that Norah Winters wears on a sign around her neck as she panhandles on the streets of Toronto.
Bloor at Bathurst - This is the street corner where Norah sits.
The Promise Hostel - This is a shelter for the homeless where Norah spends her nights.
The Orange Blossom Room - This is a restaurant in Orangetown where Reta meets her friends on the first Tuesday of each month.
