News Article

Look in your local newspaper for an article that involves some aspect of the play and bring it to class. Present the article to the class and explain why it relates to the play.

“Clue” Game

Create a board game like that of “Clue” using the characters, locations, weapons, etc. discussed in Trifles.

Have students draw their interpretation of a character from the play. Artistic ability is not important, but their drawings must reflect the narrator’s description to some extent.
