Define Your Treasure

The Lost Treasures Of Britain that Merlin is trying to collect in the book may unite the country, so they play a large role in the plot. What sort of thing would you consider to be a treasure that could unite people? Write a short essay about what your treasure is and why you chose it.

Create Your Own Treasure Clues

Merlin spends most of the story hunting for lost treasures. So, pretend that you're creating clues for Merlin. Make a list of clues for the other students in the class to follow that will lead to someplace in the classroom that you have hidden a treasure. The treasure should be something that you can give to the students like candy. Make sure that you have enough for everyone to share, although you do not need to hide all of it.
