Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Bagnio - This is a brothel; a house of prostitution.
Calais - This item is an English fort and palace, located in France, where the court visits for Anne's coronation.
Court in progress - This item is a caravan of royal wagons, carts, animals, and servants would travel with the king's standard flying, as the common people watched them pass. The courtiers would occasionally stop on their journey and expect to be fed and lodged at the expense of whomever was "blessed" with their company.
