North Africa Background

Using library books and/or the Internet, find photos of Algiers and Oran. It is important to find material that represents these cities as Camus (died 1960) would have known them. Find similar photos that show us these cities as they are today, fifty years after Camus' death. Create a brochure for one of the cities. Call your brochure 'Algiers (or Oran) Then and Now'.

3) Reproduce a map of North Africa, showing Algiers and Oran as well as the routes of invasions and the locations of major conflict (battles) of World War Two.
