Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. Objects

The Village - This is where Alyce works as an apprentice midwife.

The Cat and Cheese - This is the inn where Alyce works.

Salisbury - This is where Alyce is invited to live to work as a nanny.

Oxford - This is where Magister Reese lives with his sister.

The Manor - This is where Alyce sends Edward to find a position.

The Field - This is where Jane and the baker meet secretly.
