Author - C. S. Lewis:

As introduction to the study of The Great Divorce, we will begin by examining the author, C. S. Lewis. C. S. Lewis was an Irish-born British novelist, academic, medievalist, literary critic, essayist and theologian. He is perhaps most well-known for his popular children's series, The Chronicles of Narnia, which have been popularized in film. Today's class will examine the author, his life, career, and other works.

1) Class Discussion: Introduce the novel to the class. The Great Divorce was written by the famed author C. S. Lewis.
