Timeline

Using information from the book and from class research, draw up a timeline for the book. Begin with the Huxley family's arrival in Africa and their voyage to Thika for settlement, and continue until the outbreak of World War I and Elspeth's return to England. The class will need to research Elspeth Huxley's life to see if she ever returned to Africa after the war.
