Character Analysis

Students will choose one character from the book and develop a full character analysis using information and examples from the book.

Change the Ending

Students will write a short paragraph or two creating a different ending.

Book Critique

Students will write a book critique using information from the book to support their critique.

Write an Article

Students will take one of the scenes and write a front page news article.

Jury

Divide the class into groups and have each group be a jury. Groups will review the book for evidence and deliberate Bosch's innocence.

Detective

Students will review the book for evidence that was collected at the scene of each crime. Students will determine if the detectives in the book collected all necessary evidence and suggest other things the detectives could have collected.
