Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. Objects

Woolcombe - This is the estate where Xan grows up. Theo spends every summer here after his father dies when he is very young.

Coronation Ring - This object is reserved for royalty. Both Xan and Theo wear this object during the course of the novel.

The Five Fishes - This is a group of people who want to stand up against the Warden of England. They distribute political pamphlets and perform guerrilla attacks.

Oxford - This is where Theo lives and also where he has a career as a professor.
