Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.

Objects

Harvard - This ivy league university was home to one of the nation's best male rowing teams.

Chamber of Commerce - This was a local organization of businesses in Princeton, New Jersey, and many other cities.

Scull - This was a type of boat designed to be used by a rowing crew.

Oar - This was an object used to move a boat through the water.
