"Stern Men" is Gilbert's only novel. This lesson discusses the author of the novel "Stern Men", Elizabeth Gilbert.

Lesson

1) Library Research: Have the students research the author of the novel, Elizabeth Gilbert. Explore the other works she has written, as well as her background. Take a look at interviews and the author's website to gain information about her writing and where "Stern Men" fits in with her other works.
