Class Discussion 1:

What things make a person an easy target for bullies? Does Jill seem to possess any of those qualities at first glance? If so, which ones? If not, why was she bullied?

Class Discussion 2:

What sorts of things make people become bullies towards other people? For example, if people are bullied as kids, do they tend to bully others when they are adults? Why or why not?

Class Activity:

Hand out index cards and ask each student to write a few lines, anonymously, about a time when they were bullied or bullied someone else and why they feel it happened.
