Objective

Sia is the debut young adult novel of author Josh Grayson. Centered on themes of friendship, memory, and forgiveness, the novel follows protagonist Sia Holloway, a seventeen-year-old girl suffering from amnesia and struggling to discover who she really is. In Chapter 1, Sia awakens in Elysian Park in Los Angeles, knowing nothing of her past or her current surroundings. In this lesson, students will research the setting of the novel and will identify and analyze the narrative point of view in Sia.
