When Seth first sees Samona, she is making faces behind the teacher's back on the first day of school. She is also wearing bright red underwear under a white skirt, and everyone can see it. Seth thinks that Samona is crazy, and he wants to stay away from her.

2. How did Samona live up to the reputation she created for herself on the first day of class?

After the first day of class, all of the children were worried that Samona was too crazy for her own good, and that she would surely get them all into trouble. From that day forward, Samona made it her mission to cause trouble wherever she went, and implicating all the other children in her mischief.

3. What happened when Seth and Samona tried to sell toiletries door-to-door?

Seth and Samona started a small business in which they attempted to sell shampoo door-to-door in their neighborhood. Samona was in charge of mixing up the product, and never bothered to tell Seth that the "secret ingredient" in their shampoo was horse manure. Seth was always bowled over by the terrible smell of their product.
