Character Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Characters
Mr. Alquist - He is older, a traditionalist, and sees the manufacture of robots as a profitable venture that is evil at its core.
Consul Busman - He anticipates that eventually robots will replace all workers and that the cost of manufacturing goods will decrease steadily. When the robots attack, he continues working on his accounts, almost in denial.
Harry Domin - He is an idealist who envisions that robots will help create a paradise on earth for man, who will have robots to do the work and free man to simply enjoy...
