2. Journal entry: How do you think the story would change if it were told set in the present time rather than in 1941?

3. Group assignment: How is 1941 different from today? Create a Venn Diagram or a chart showing the differences in the eras.

4. Homework: Research the year 1941 and find 5 facts that are relevant to the story.
