Character Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. Characters

Amalia Agazzi - This character is wife to the provincial councilor.

Commendatore Agazzi - This character is a provincial councilor, close to fifty years old, and accustomed to authority and status in a small town.

Dina Agazzi - This character, at nineteen, acts very grown up about her role in detecting the true details of gossip.

Centuri - This character is the Police Commissioner who is brought in to investigate the history of the family in question. He is around forty, very serious, and single-minded about his duties.
