Character Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. Characters
Thomas Paine - This is the author, a well known intellectual that helped define the ideas of the original American government, and supported the American and French Revolutions through writings and pamphlets that inspired people everywhere.
Edmund Burke - This person was an Irish parliamentarian and political theorist that disagreed with the author about the French Revolution and was criticized many times during the book.
