Character Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. Bernie Cary - This character is a fifty-three-year-old recovering alcoholic. He is the father of a child whom he hasn't seen since he divorced the mother twenty years earlier.

Carol Mindler - This person is a twenty-four-year-old woman, the daughter. She has come to visit her father whom she hasn't seen since she was four-years-old, when her parents divorced.
