Object Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.

Objects

Emory University - Jeff begins several of his first replays at this location.

Peachtree Plaza Hotel - This Atlanta landmark had not been built during Jeff's first replay.

Jeff's Chevy - This object gives the character money to use for gambling on sure bets.

Chateaugay - This is the long-shot horse that wins the Kentucky Derby in 1963.

Paris - This location is where Jeff and a woman visit after winning $137,000 on horse races.

Future, Inc. - This business takes advantage of a replayer's foreknowledge of business and world trends.
