Fun Classroom Activities

1. Book Design

Design a book cover for The Reivers. You should include a description of the story on the back and some comments that promote the book.

Go through the book and extract all the southern colloquialisms. With a friend write a dialogue between the two of you that uses the colloquialisms.

With a partner say a word or name that relates to the book, for example a character, and see how many words you associate...
