Character Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. Characters

Ben - This character lives on the Manderley estate and spends significant time on the foreshore. He speaks cryptically and adds to the intrigue of the Rebecca mystery.

Frank Crawley - This character is honorable and extremely tactful. Soon after she meets him, Mrs. de Winter feels she can trust this character. He is a quiet supporter of Maxim de Winter in his tribulations.
