Character Descriptions

This section provides a short description of all the major characters in the book. Characters

Catherine Bennet - This character is virtually a non-entity in the family although not the youngest sibling.

Eliza Bennet - This is a nickname for the heroine of the book.

Elizabeth Bennet - This character has perhaps received more admiration than any other heroine in English literature.

Jane Bennet - This character is the most beautiful and amiable of the siblings in her family.

Kitty Bennet - This is a nickname for the most ignored member of the main family.

Lizzie Bennet - This is a nickname for the heroine of the book.
