Objective: As we read the opening chapters of the book, we are introduced to the main character, Penny, as well as two vital sets of contributors to mystery in her everyday life--her paternal and maternal relatives with whom she lives; and the questions that she constantly asks herself and others surrounding her father, the circumstances surrounding his death; and what Heaven is like--that all have been and remain unanswered.
