Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Foxboro - This is the home city of the New England Patriots.
Super Bowl - This is the season-ending championship game of the NFL.
Playoffs - These are late season games to determine contestants in the championship game.
The Combine - This is an event where players are evaluated by prospective teams in a military-style fashion.
The Blitz - This is a defensive strategy where many defensive players rush the quarterback at once.
The NFL - This is the organization responsible for managing professional football in the United States.
